INFINITE AND GERUND
Ejemplos del infinitivo en español:
A Juan le gusta SALIR.FUMAR es malo para la salud.Está demasiado cansado para COMER.

En inglés, el INFINITIVO se puede escribir de tres maneras: Infinitivo con TO (Full Infinitive o infinitivo completo) ex// I want TO PLAY football (Quiero JUGAR al fútbol)Infinitivo sin TO (Bare infinitive o infinitivo desnudo)
ex//He can PLAY the piano (Sabe TOCAR el piano)
VERBO TERMINADO EN –ING, que en este caso es traducida como infinitivo (-AR,-ER,-IR), y no como gerundio (-ANDO, -ENDO), que es como estamos acostumbrados a traducirla.
ex// SMOKING is bad for your health (FUMAR es malo para tu salud)
ex//He can PLAY the piano (Sabe TOCAR el piano)
